03:48 pm - Hello LJ Wow, I haven't posted here in years. Literally. It's almost my 24th birthday (this Monday, the 20th.) I'm still in school. I finished an internship with the LA Clippers. The NBA playoffs are about to start, so I'm stoked about the Lakers chances. I've been to many Lakers games this year. Over 20 or so. I'll have to count.
Okay I'm already bored updating my life. Nothing exciting has happened as of late. OH! That's a lie! I went to Israel in January. Pics are on my facebook page. I met some good people there I now consider friends. I just got back from visiting my mom in Oregon where I got my tonsils out. I'm pretty much healed from that.
So, yeah. That's it for now. Toodles! Current Location: home Current Mood: bored Current Music: silence

08:34 pm - AX 2007 I went. I saw. Nothing new. Nothing to get excited over. Nice to see some old friends of mine, but other than that I think I've just lost total interest in Anime-Expo. Or maybe it just sucks now. Who knows, it's in the eyes of the opinionated.
Shout-outs to:
Ryan, Mike, Kieran, Kyle, Laura, David,
and I wish I could say Justin, but he was MIA during his signing =/ I haven't seen him in years...oh well. I'm glad I went - it just didn't nearly live up to the fun/excitement its had over the years. Infact, I wanted to leave pretty much as soon as I arrived. I was bored that quick. Maybe I'm just not into the Anime's that are popular now-a-days? I doubt I'll go next year unless there's a reason to.
I can remember all the way back to AX '01 when I got to meet Chris Sabat (the voice actor for Vegeta) for the first time...getting his autograph for my girlfriend at the time and flying out to Australia later that day. In '02, when I first met Kieran, Mike, Ryan, and Jon...and Mike and I went shopping with Laura Bailey and Eric Vale. To staying at Ryan's place with his annoying fire alarm buzzing every twenty seconds. To hanging out with Justin Cook for the weekend in which Ryan and I dubbed 'Justin Cook Con'.. To meeting Cherry, Orphelia, Sio, and dancing the nights away with them, Justin, and Mike McFarland. To sharing rooms with Jon Allen and Sonny Strait and all the drama which followed that. To taking Clyde with me in '05 and hanging out with him and Cherry, as well as making new friends. To bringing Jade with me in '06 and introducing her to Kieran and Eric (for better or worse) and all the fun/drama that came with that.
Good memories from AX '01 - AX '07. Bad memories as well. All in all I wouldn't trade them away. To all the friends I've made at AX; to all the friends I've made and lost at AX, it was fun while it lasted. Current Mood: nostalgic

07:49 pm - Since I'm hardly on here... Who the heck on my friends list uses Myspace?! I know I'm like 3 years behind on asking this...but I admit, the evilness that is Myspace has sucked me in to its dark vortex. Soooo, if you have an account, reply with your Myspace link or add me:

P.S. If I had you on my old Myspace account and I somehow magically disappeared, it's because I deleted my old account (long story) and started a new one. Soooo, yay. I miss you all! Current Location: home Current Mood: calm Current Music: Silversun Pickups - Well Thought Out Twinkles

12:22 pm - Placebo '07! So I just happen to be in Oregon while Placebo is on tour. They're not even stopping in LA, but they stopped in Portland last night and I went! They were AMAZING!!! Ahh, I haven't seen them play a real set live in years. Last time I saw them was in like 2003 and their instruments got stolen in Mexico so they had to play an acoustic set. But after over 3 long years of waiting, I finally got to see them live again and they did NOT disappoint! Ahh I'm back in love again haha. Current Mood: chipper Current Music: Placebo - One of a Kind

07:06 pm - Off to Israel Yep, that's right. I don't know if I've posted about it here but I was accepted to go on a free trip to Israel by the birthright program. I will be leaving LA to fly to New York on Friday morning. I'll be going on the trip with my friend Scott. His brother lives in New York, so he's letting me stay there for a night before the trip. The plane to Israel leaves Saturday night, so we'll be going to the Yankees game on friday. I can't wait! I was kinda upset I'd only be able to stay in New York for a day, so I wanted to make the most of it and planned to go to the Yankees game. They're playing the defending national champions, the Chicago White Sox. It's the first game back from the All Star break so the star pitchers (Jose Contreras and Randy Johnson will be pitching).
Anyways, we leave for Israel on Saturday night. It will be me, Scott and a group of 38 others. I think the chick who played Harriet The Spy will be in our group as well. I got the itenerary for the trip and it looks fun. We'll be doing all sorts of things from camel back riding, floating in the Dead Sea, swimming in the Garden of Eden, and lots more. It'll be totally safe too because we won't be travelling to the dangerous parts and we'll be on private busses with military personal assisting us with GPS so they know where we are at all times. So, yay! Finally a real vacation. I can't wait! Current Location: Home Current Mood: hopeful Current Music: DJ John - Mash Up

12:52 am - Kobe Luck I know most of you don't really care about sports too much, but it's pretty much my life. I'm a Lakers fan and I've never seen Kobe Bryant score 40 points in one game. I dunno why, but I made it kind of a goal of mine to see him score 40 this year. BOTH Lakers game I went to, he got to 39 and had many opportunities to get to 40 but never did. Because of this consistancy of my bad luck, I keep kicking myself and getting depressed because I cannot overcome this hurdle which I CANNOT CONTROL! Ever had one of those random obsticles you wanted to pass for whatever reason (whether it means anything or not)? This is one of those. 39. Why 39. One more. That's all it took. And it couldn't be done, TWICE. And the Lakers lost, too.

03:40 am - Curious George The movie was the sweetest movie I have seen in recent memory. I smiled, I laughed, I had flashbacks to childhood, I was happy. Very cute. George was absolutely adorable. I hope this movie does well in theatres - it's one of the few hand drawn cartoons being made. Let's keep them coming and keep job opportunities open for future artists such as my sister, Sara!
